Spiritual Paradise: Hsu Tien Sheng
An individual's life involves constant search of solutions in life and self-enlightenment.
Psychologist Hsu Tien Sheng seeks pleasure in life through Seth belief, where he has explored, contemplated and realized the "Spiritual Paradise"; by sharing the concept, he hopes people can find the answers that they are searching.
Having delved in Seth Material for 27 years, Hsu Tien Sheng speaks endlessly about how profoundly Seth has touched him. When he talks about Seth Material, his high spirits is indicative of its importance to him. He believes that he is not only the confidant of Seth but also its pathfinder, so that people who do not understand its secrets can also gain some insight. This is his lifelong mission.
“Painting is the emotional projection of the painter, while architecture is the embodiment of an architect’s thinking. Meanwhile, the world is the embodiment of everyone’s consciousness; however, when people relentless pursue their external appearance, they tend to neglect their inner souls,” explains Hsu Tien Sheng. Most modern people are too preoccupied with livelihood and searching for their soul externally, yet they are unaware that they need to calm down to contemplate and face themselves internally in order to return the nature of human beings. In so doing, they can continue to grow their spirits, just like the concept promoted by Seth that states “Inner peace creates outer peace, while outer peace only reflects one’s mood.” He emphasizes that entrepreneurs nowadays must shoulder corporate social responsibility, hence they cannot focus excessively on superficial economics without caring about people’s inner feelings. One must face one’s heart to obtain inner peace; this in turn facilitates the success of all one’s endeavors.
“Many melancholia patients do think positively.” The words of Hsu Tien Sheng shatter people’s stereotypical impression. People often encourage one another to think positively, yet the majority of positive thinking is conducted superficially; he urges people not to be afraid of negative thinking but to perceive it and face it courageously. From a therapeutic point of view, the cause of negative thinking can be determined from one’s family, basic personality and growth process, where one’s inner heart must be unraveled like lifting up a carpet. Don’t think immediately about “how to avoid negative thinking”, instead, negative thinking reflects one’s true feelings.
There are three major life perspectives in Seth belief, including the “Helpless optimist” who always tries to remain positive, the “Down-to-earth idealist” who takes action, and the “ESP power driven type who is here on Earth for business trip, traveling, learning and to have fun.” He believes people are all Gods, and we come to Earth to learn and play happily; we must stimulate our creativity and potential so that those suffering can create miracles purposefully, progressively and systematically, thereby transforming lives throughout the world and attain spiritual satisfaction.
